General

Important Information

  • Standard check-in time is at 1400hrs and Standard check-out time is at 1200 hrs (noon).
  • Seaplanes operate only between 0600hrs to 1630hrs. It is best that you arrive before 1500hrs and departs after 0900hrs in Maldives for these are the safest seaplane schedule which ensures that you do not miss your connecting flights. Should you miss your transfers due to flight delays the resort and Alpha Maldives will not be held liable for compensation as this is beyond our control. Alpha Maldives will always be with you to assist in finding a local Male hotel should it be necessary.
  • Please note that combined seaplane transfers do require a minimum waiting time of 2 hours subject to available schedule on the day of travel.
  • Seaplanes take maximum of 20kg per person check-in luggage restriction – an excess luggage fee will be charged and is payable directly to Maldivian Air Taxi at check-in.
  • Overnight stay in a Male hotel is necessary if your international flight lands or departs before and after the seaplane operating hours. Resorts reachable by speedboat is accessible 24 hours a day.
  • AFTER MIDNIGHT arrival, your reservation has to be confirmed a night prior for example arrival with Sri Lankan 105 on August 2, 2016 ETA 01:25 AM, reservation must be confirmed from August 1, 2016 to ensure your check-in at the resort upon arrival or you may also opt for an overnight stay in Male hotel.
  • All passengers arriving to the Maldives must be in the possession of  machine readable passports to be allowed to enter into the country.
